A Calorie Controlled Chicken Curry

The simplest way to cook a chicken curry and the calories and macros for 1 serving!

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 Tsp Butter
  • 30g Onions
  • 5g Ginger
  • 1 Garlic Clove
  • 1/2 Tsp Salt
  • 1g Garam Masala
  • 1g Chilli Powder
  • 1g Cumin Seeds
  • 1g Turmeric
  • 200g Canned tomatoTomato
  • 130g Chicken Breast/ Thigh

Method:

  1. Place butter in a pan.
  2. Add the cumin seeds let them cook for 1 minute.
  3. Add chopped onions.
  4. Cook the onions until brown and softened.
  5. Drop in the ginger, garlic and chilli.
  6. Add the spices to taste.
  7. Leave to simmer for 5-10 minutes.
  8. Add tomatoes and leave to cook for 10-15 minutes.
  9. Add the Chicken Breast/ Thigh (calories and macros below are worked out for the chicken thigh curry).
  10. Depending on the size of the chicken pieces, this will take around 15-10mins to cook on a low heat.

And there you have it! A macro and calorie controlled Chicken Curry!
